Georgetown, TX—Republican State Representative Charles Schwertner added several prominent healthcare groups to his growing list of supporters for his campaign for State Senate, District 5. Rep. Schwertner, a conservative legislator and local practicing orthopedic surgeon, is running for the open seat left by retiring Sen. Steve Ogden.

He is a local orthopedic surgeon and small business owner with medical practices in both Georgetown and Cedar Park employing over 50 individuals and providing annual care to over 20,000 local patients.
