AUSTIN, TX - Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC today announced its endorsement of State Rep. Charles Schwertner (R-Georgetown) in Senate District 5. In making the endorsement, TLR PAC Chairman Richard J. Trabulsi, Jr. said:

“Dr. Schwertner is a principled conservative as well as an impressive and effective Member of the Texas House. As a physician, Dr. Schwertner is acutely aware of the importance of lawsuit reform in assuring that Texans have access to doctors and health care. Schwertner is the managing partner of Georgetown Orthopedics, LLC, a medical clinic with over 40 employees that provides annual care to over 20,000 patients in the Williamson County area. He was elected to the Texas House in 2010, representing Milam and parts of Williamson County. Senate District 5 includes Brazos, Freestone, Grimes, Leon, Limestone, Madison, Milam, Robertson, Walker and Williamson Counties.
